Bailey Sloan
Client Care Coordinator
I believe compassionate, trauma-informed care is fundamental to meaningful recovery. My approach emphasizes genuine connection, empathy, and creating a safe, welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
My path to working in mental health and youth care has been deeply shaped by my personal experiences. Growing up in a family impacted by addiction and mental health challenges, I saw firsthand how difficult it can be to access the kind of care that is compassionate, consistent, and supportive. These early experiences sparked a lifelong passion to be part of the solution; to help others feel seen, understood, and cared for in ways I often needed myself.
My approach is rooted in the belief that recovery and healing are not one-size-fits-all. Every person’s story matters, and every step forward deserves compassion. I am committed to walking alongside those I serve with humility, curiosity, and a deep respect for their individual paths toward healing.
What drives my passion behind the work is my own experience growing up around addiction and mental health challenges. I know how isolating and overwhelming it can feel when you or someone you love is struggling and how hard it can be to fid support that feels authentic and compassionate. Thats why I’ve dedicated the past several years to being a steady, reliable and supportive presence for those I’m working with who are navigating difficult experiences in life. I chose to work at Insight Northwest Recovery because the approach aligns with everything I believe in; empathy, integrity, and truly showing up for people. From the moment I connected with this team, I could feel how much they care, not just about clients, but about building a culture rooted in trust, connection, and healing. Being part of a team that leads with heart means everything to me.
Outside of work, I enjoy art, both creating it and admiring other’s work. I also love reading, spending time with my family, and hanging out with my sweet and incredibly energetic dog. Whether I’m getting lost in a good book, drawing or just enjoying quiet moments with the people I love, these are the things that help me recharge and connect to what matters most.
I’ve spent the last seven years working in roles that center around supporting others through compassion, structure, and understanding. My experience includes working in crisis care, facilitating skills-based groups for youth and adults in residential settings, and providing direct support to individuals navigating mental health and addiction challenges. These roles have supported my ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and create safe, supportive spaces for people in difficult situations. I’ve learned that sometimes the smallest moments of connection can have the biggest impact and I carry that belief into every interaction.
