FOUNDER & executive director
OF Insight Northwest Recovery

As a therapist and mental health-focused entrepreneur, I have a deep belief in the power of mental health services to help individuals achieve their best selves. I strive to eliminate the stigma surrounding counseling and addiction. I actively support organizations that work to reduce mental health and addiction stigma in the Northwest. As the founder of Insight Northwest Recovery and Insight Northwest Counseling, I bring a unique perspective to my work, drawing from my own personal, and familial experiences with addiction, and my strong spiritual and meditation practice.

My passion in the field of mental health lies in establishing and fostering organizations that serve both the community and its staff. Despite the growing need for mental health services, the field still struggles to provide accessible care and promote a supportive and empowering workplace culture for its employees. My contribution to the field of mental health is lockstep in uplifting communities that need care and for providers who deserve to have a supportive, safe, and collaborative workplace.

As a client at Insight Northwest Recovery I hope you will feel a sense of validation, relief, and connection. Our goal here is to provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where you can heal and grow. We believe that everyone deserves to receive the best possible care. So, if you are seeking mental health support and/or addiction treatment, we are here for you, and we hope that you will choose to take the first step towards a brighter and healthier future.

Professional Background

My entrance into the mental health field began in 2013. After a year of recovery I was given the opportunity to be the Admission Coordinator at the same treatment facility that I attended inpatient treatment for substance addiction. From there, I continued pursuing my education to become a mental health therapist. Throughout my educational journey I worked at various substance addiction, mental health, and early childhood education organizations in Eugene, Oregon. Once I completed my graduate degree in Couples and Family Therapy I started my own practice providing individual, child, family, and couples counseling. I soon then expanded my practice Insight Northwest Counseling into an integrated mental health organization with multiple locations in Oregon. My career is dedicated to serving the Northwest and uplifting communities by increasing accessibility to mental health care and establishing supportive and stable careers for providers.
